The Northern Border Region, which comprises a number of important cities – namely Arar, Rafha and Turaif – is home to numerous archaeological and heritage sites that reflect its cultural richness and diversity. It contains more than 285 archaeological sites listed in the National Register of Antiquities, in addition to 39 sites of architectural heritage.
